The Internet has made life a lot easier by making information more accessible to all and creating connections with different people around the world. However, it has also led a lot of people to spend too much time in front of the computer, so much so that it becomes the center of their lives. We determined the observations and measurements with 4 big questionairres applied to partner
school students before the application of this project. The results are uploaded to the annexes and the results show us that this project should be done with the attendance of the selected partners. All selected partners have different roles in this project.
As computers, laptops and tablets become increasingly commonplace in today’s modern world, the question of how much Internet usage is too much naturally arises and thus, leads to the query of what causes Internet and computer addictions. It should be understood that everyone’s experience of using the Internet is different. Some people rely on the Internet mostly for their jobs. The Others take advantage of the Internet to socialize with family and friends who do not live nearby. Use of the Internet may become a problem when you begin to neglect important areas of your life, such as school, work or relationships in order to use the computer.
This Project is directly focus on students age range between 11-18. In addition to these studies, it is seen that schools that prepare children for life and professional life need to develop school based programs in order to prevent this problem which will negatively affect the student's life skills and business success in the professional life.
For this reason, in schools, the distraction and focusing difficulty of the students in the school to increase the success of the school, to prepare for professional life, the student's screen abuse (possibly due to a dependent behavior) may occur in the health deterioration, social skill blinding, anxiety and depression situations to prevent the student's self-respect and in order to develop selfconfidence, we needed to develop a project aiming at the conscious use of the bright object syndrome screen, and first of all, we made a need analysis about our students' attention level, screen usage and other related factors to develop a school based project. Students need to be informed about the correct use of the screen. It is observed that the wrong diet and sports habits which our students have developed up to now and wrong time management need to be corrected, their social skills need to be improved, their anxiety and depression status and selfesteem need to be improved. These are the reasons that make us want to write this project.
